Maritime Academy Trust is a UK multi‑academy trust and education charity founded in 2016, operating a family of schools across London and the South East, including Greenwich, Bexley, Kent and Medway. It supports around 13 schools and thousands of pupils, focusing on collaboration, innovation, and school improvement.
The Trust’s mission is to ensure every child receives a high‑quality, meaningful education that builds knowledge, creativity, and resilience. Its approach emphasises “consistency of impact without conformity,” enabling schools to retain their identity while benefiting from shared expertise and strong partnership working.
British Obstacle Sports
British Obstacle Sports (BOS) is the national governing body for obstacle course racing (OCR) and ninja sport in the UK, established in 2019. As a nonprofit organisation, it oversees the development, regulation and growth of obstacle sports, supporting athletes, events, coaches and officials.
BOS works to raise standards, ensure safety, and create competitive pathways from grassroots participation to elite international competition. It also partners with organisations and schools to expand access to the sport and promote physical activity.
Its mission is to enable people across the UK to enjoy and benefit from obstacle sports at all levels.
